What is there to tell about the above mentioned person?...

Hmm... This has always been a difficult question that I have tried aswering in a couple of essays. But I'll see what I can do... ;-)

At this moment of my life I am learning to take things easy. In Brussels. Since January 2, 2006 my home is here. And it indeed feels like home. I’m working as a translator for the Council of the European Union. Have some nice colleagues that I knew already from university. I am sharing a nice apartment with my best friend from university times – Arta. We’ve been talking about living together since the end of 1999 and now we have finally done it. And it has turned out quite nice. Due to geographical changes at work we also share an office. And so far it is going good too.

From time to time I do miss Latvia. I do miss friends and family there but then again – my living here is an excellent reason for them to get off their butts and come and see Brussels and Belgium. So there is never a dull day… ;-))))
